To introduce myself...

I grew up in Colorado and got a master's degree from the Colorado School of Mines in systems engineering. I took a job with Ball Aerospace and worked on couple of different NASA satellites in Boulder and in France. When asked to transition to defense satellites I decided to take some time off and travel in Asia for a bit. Somehow I found myself in Laos as a volunteer in a community library teaching science. Teaching a group of students how to use a microscope I had one of those "I know exactly what I want to do with my life" moments I had never known before.

My driving force in life is curiosity. It is this curious nature that creates my passion for science, learning, traveling, meeting new people and trying new things. I believe that the potential in all of us comes from our passion not from the talents we are given at birth. It is this intense curiosity about the world and passion for learning that I hope to inspire in students.

Life has been good to me and my hope is that I can help the people of Laos find a better quality of life through science education and entrepreneurial ventures. If you have similar passion for life, I invite you to join in the adventure with me.
